ISO27001 certification for our retail software

Information security is an essential part of our software development. We are proud to announce that our retail software has been successfully certified again according to the ISO27001:2017 standard. Hooray!

The certification was carried out by TÜV Nederland during a three-day audit. Under the guidance of Kurt Wuytack, Information Security Manager, and our security team, all processes were scrutinised, with special attention given to our Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

The auditors were impressed by our approach, particularly in how we analyse the impact of changes on information security using the STRIDE principle. This resulted in a positive recommendation with no conditions, supplemented by even two good practices. An achievement we are enormously proud of.

What does ISO27001 mean?

ISO27001 certification is more than just a tick on a checklist. It is proof of our commitment to secure software development and reliable service delivery. For customers of our retail solutions, this means they can count on:

• Process-oriented and controlled security
• Continuous improvements thanks to external audits and internal evaluations

This not only provides confidence but also assurance that our software meets the highest security standards.

Looking ahead to ISO27001:2022

Although the current certification is based on the ISO27001:2017 standard, we are already looking ahead. In 2025, we will transition to the latest version of the standard: ISO27001:2022. This means we will continue to improve our processes to meet the most current security requirements and technological developments.
