Gerust Zorgcentrale can now truly be at ease thanks to the Financials from Anchr
About Gerust care centre
Planning is key
With the common goal of providing people with a better quality of life, CM Gezondheidsfonds and Wit-Gele Kruis decided to join forces in 2020. Together, they established the new care centre. Gerust offers a comprehensive range of safe and innovative care supports aimed at helping people who have care and support needs live independently and self-sufficiently at home. Today, the organisation has over 40,000 clients, making it the largest care centre in the country.
The personal alarm: always someone ready to help
The first service that Gerust brings to the market is that of the personal alarm. It allows a user to request help with the press of a button around the clock. The alarm signal goes to the central office, from where the necessary assistance is immediately provided, either through professional care services or through the client's caregivers. The aim is to guarantee the safety of individuals in need of care at all times. The personal alarm is available for both private individuals and care professionals who can rent the alarm devices.
New centralised accounting and billing system
Before the establishment of Gerust, CM Gezondheidsfonds and Wit-Gele Kruis each offered the personal alarm separately – often even separately by province – and had their own accounting systems. With the establishment of the unified care centre, there arose a need to set up a single common accounting and billing platform. Since Wit-Gele Kruis Limburg and Flemish Brabant had previously collaborated with Anchr and were satisfied with this partnership, CM Gezondheidsfonds and Wit-Gele Kruis chose to work on this project with Anchr as well. Following initial discussions in July 2021, the project was officially launched. With 1 January 2022 as the deadline for its implementation, it became quite a challenge that Anchr was eager to take on. In the first phase, a feasibility study was conducted. This was completed at the end of September 2021. Subsequently, the implementation design began, along with the development of the necessary interfaces.

Efficiency at its best
After months of hard work, the deadline was met. A new financial system was up and running. But what does it actually do?
Within the software of the care centre, all subscriber data is registered. Through the Financials solution, this information is processed efficiently, allowing Gerust to invoice its users, currently around 40,000. The Anchr solution reads the data via APIs, checks if any discounts apply to Gerust customers connected to CM (also through API communication), and ensures the distribution of digital invoices via email. The sending of printed invoices is handled by an external supplier.
Furthermore, the Anchr software monitors payments and maintains a general accounting system. Necessary reports can always be requested, such as a report on the number of subscribers per province and the underlying generated revenues. This is essential to gain necessary insights, follow up, and adjust where needed.
Finally, it was also important at the start-up that all active SEPA mandates from the previous providers of the personal alarm were transferred. This switch was also realised by Anchr.

Financials integrates all financial and administrative processes into one accounting solution thanks to extensive automation. The various modules allow for easy control over the different financial processes within your organisation.
In the financial module, your essential accounting processes can be maximally automated. Furthermore, Anchr's Financials ensures that the data from your accounting is clearly visualised in analytical reports and dashboards. Contract management, automatic invoice recognition, e-invoicing, and so on are also possible.
‘The undeniable advantage is that Anchr's Financials can be perfectly integrated with other tools. As we have done in this case with Factuurportal,’ explains Michel Petrusma. ‘As a user, this means time savings through automation, real-time financial insights based on the generated reports, and cost savings thanks to the centralisation of purchasing processes.
